A traffic accident between two motorcycles was reported this Sunday on the Calzada de Güines, in Havana, according to the Facebook page La Tijera.
According to witnesses cited by the outlet, one of the motorcycles collided with the other from behind, resulting in one of the drivers being violently thrown onto the road.
The injured person was immediately transferred to a nearby hospital for medical attention. So far, there has been no official report on the severity of their injuries.
People present at the scene reported that the incident caused moments of tension and concern while waiting for assistance to attend to the injured person.
The authorities have not provided details regarding the causes of the accident or the health status of the affected driver.
